Judicial Watch Uncovers FDA Records Detailing 16 New Deaths Tied to Gardasil

Records Document 3,589 Adverse Reactions Related to Gardasil between May 2009 and September 2010, Including 213 Cases Resulting in Permanent Disability

The European Medicine Agency (EMA) said today it is not clear if there is any link between narcolepsy cases and the Pandemrix vaccine for 2009 H1N1 influenza, and it will take 3 to 6 months to investigate the possibility fully.

The EMA's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) concluded that further studies are needed, the agency said in a news release. In the meantime, the panel agreed that there is no need to restrict the vaccine's use, as the benefit-risk balance continues to be positive.

The EMA launched a review of Pandemrix on Aug 27, in the wake of reports of narcolepsy in vaccinees, mainly from Sweden and Finland. The vaccine, which is made by GlaxoSmithKline and contains an adjuvant, was administered to 30.8 million Europeans during the H1N1 pandemic.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - GlaxoSmithKline Plc's rotavirus vaccine may be linked to a small increase in a life-threatening type of bowel obstruction, U.S. health officials said on Wednesday.

Early data from a study in Mexico suggested infants given the Rotarix vaccine may face a higher chance of an intestinal problem known as intussusception in the 31 days after their first dose, the Food and Drug Administration said on its website.

"Although the results are preliminary and will require further evaluation, FDA approved revised labeling to inform healthcare providers of this finding," the agency said.

I have been utilizing the Religious exemption every year and the reaction my wife got this year was, "Another one of these huh?". Students and parents waited in long lines Monday, in order to get the vaccinations required by law. The first of several immunization clinics got underway at Lafayette Square Mall.

The Marion County Health Department decided to hold a series of mass clinics in order to meet the high demand of students needing school shots.

The non-school aged children had no trouble smiling as they waited in line with their big brothers and sisters, who didn't seem quite as happy as they headed towards the nurses with the big red signs. They weren't thrilled about holding out their arm and getting stuck with a needle.
